Mike Ammons serves as rental business development manager at Waev Inc., where he partners with equipment rental companies across the U.S. to provide sales and support for Waev’s full lineup of purpose-built vehicles. In his role, he works closely with rental businesses to equip their customers with the right vehicles for their needs, helping rental operators expand their offerings and deliver tailored solutions.

Before joining Waev, Mike spent more than 25 years building his career at a national equipment rental provider, where he held roles in outside sales, branch and district management, and regional fleet management. In those positions, he oversaw both sales and operational teams across rental and equipment sales functions.

Mike’s experience spans the full spectrum of the equipment rental industry — from frontline sales to multi-unit leadership — bringing a solutions-oriented, partnership-driven approach to every customer and business relationship he builds.

Mike earned a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and proudly served in the Army National Guard.

Mike lives in South Carolina with his wife, Tina, and they are proud parents of two adult children. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, golf, duck hunting and spending time with family.
