Thomas Nelson serves as government account manager at Waev Inc., where he leads sales strategy across the GEM, Taylor-Dunn, Tiger and Fusion brands for federal government agencies. In his role, he builds relationships with agency decision-makers and resellers, communicates the value of Waev’s electric vehicle portfolio, and drives business expansion across the federal sector.

Before joining Waev, Thomas worked at Polaris Industries as a business development representative focused on government and defense accounts. Prior to that, he served 22 years in the United States Air Force in roles ranging from recruiter to Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist.

Thomas’s background spans two decades of military service and government-focused business development, bringing firsthand knowledge of federal operations and a mission-driven approach to building public sector partnerships.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He lives in Park Rapids, Minn., and enjoys spending time with his daughter and future son-in-law.
